Services & Events
Kirkby Lonsdale, Barbon and Preston Patrick churches have services
every Sunday.
Casterton, Hutton Roof, Lupton, Mansergh and Middleton hold services
several times each month, but not every week.
A Communion service is held at St Mary's, Kirkby Lonsdale, every
Thursday at 10.30am. Services are also held at St Mary's on Saints'
days.
If you are visiting during Advent there are many special services
held in all churches.

Cultural Events
Many concerts and other events are held in our churches throughout
the year. For details see the Kirkby Lonsdale website (click on
Contacts), visit the Tourist Information Centre on Main Street,
look in our community newsletter, Around Kirkby Lonsdale, or see
the posters in our church porches. Tickets are often available
on the day.
Sunday School
There is a Sunday School at St Mary’s, Kirkby Lonsdale –
called ‘Green Shoots’. They meet normally at St Mary's
Rectory, behind the church, each Sunday from 10.30am for 45 minutes,
when there are stories, activities and songs. The young people
join the church congregation at 11.15am and share in the celebration
of Holy Communion and then remain with their parents as the service
concludes.
Young people aged from three years and upwards is welcome - the
younger ones can be accompanied by an adult if that is preferred.
'Green Shoots' runs during school term times, stopping during
